- NIH has released interim general conditions of NIH grant awards aligned with the HHS regulations implementing the Uniform Guidance (UG). The conditions are effective for awards issued on or after December 26, 2014 that obligate new or supplemental funds.
ORA's Annual Reminder for Proposal Submissions-Springbreak March 16-18

In preparation for this year’s Spring break campus closure, it’s our annual reminder concerning proposal processing and submissions. ORA staff will not be available March 16-18 of Spring break week.- On January 26, 2015, the National Science Foundation (NSF) will implement changes in FastLane to support the revised version of the Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) and to run additional automated compliance checks on proposals.
- For FY 2015, the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2015 (Public Law 113-235), signed into law on December 16, 2014, restricts the amount of direct salary to Executive Level II of the Federal Executive pay scale.
- NIH announces a new biographical sketch format to be used in all grant applications with due dates on or after May 25, 2015.
