This note is to inform you that effective June 1, 2019 or the month following DLAR moving into Clark Hall, whichever is earlier, the per diem rates charged by the Department of Laboratory Animal Resources (DLAR) for animal care support will be increased by 50% from current rates. See rates here
The new rates are:
- Mice - $.80 per cage / day
- Mice Ventilated cage - $1.00 per cage / day
- Peromyscus - $1.00 per cage / day
- Rats - $1.20 cage / day
- Guinea Pigs $1.40 cage / day
This increase was reviewed and approved by the Vice President of Research.
Please include the new rates in any new grant proposals.
