NSF has announced the availability of both NSF-approved formats for the Biographical Sketch and Current and Pending Support sections of National Science Foundation (NSF) proposals that fall under the revised Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) (NSF 20-1), which are effective for proposals submitted or due on or after June 1, 2020.

A revised version of the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG), (NSF 20-1) has been issued. The new PAPPG will be effective for proposals submitted or due, and awards made on or after June 1, 2020. The new version of the Guide includes a number of significant changes.

NSF has designated the National Institutes of Health’s SciENcv (Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae) as an NSF-approved format for submission of biographical sketch(es) and is encouraging its use to prepare a biographical sketch for inclusion in proposals to NSF.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is requiring the use of the newly developed Department of Commerce RPPR (Form RPPR, OMB Number 0690-0032) for research award performance reports.
