New regulations pertaining to financial conflicts of interest in research sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) went into effect on August 24, 2012.


The Public Health Service (PHS) regulations governing Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) programs at institutions that accept PHS research funds have new requirements effective August 24, 2012.


The FY2013 USM Compensation Guidelines include a two-percent Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) to be made on January 1, 2013 for regular faculty, staff, and graduate assistants.


The Fulbright-Hayes Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fellowship Program provides opportunities to doctoral candidates to engage in full-time dissertation research in modern foreign languages and area studies.
